Hello and a warm welcom to our web site hopefully it will show you about the hotel and its very high standards which we have.

We welcome old and new guests alike and are proud to say that we have guests staying with us that have been coming to this hotel now for over 25 years, long before we ever came to run the hotel. We have managed to staisfy their expectations of the service we currently give and hope that we have gone someway to improve the good name which this hotel has always had for cleanliness and quality of service.

Our names are Glyn and John and we have been running this hotel now for over 5 years in that time we have had most of the guests return to us time after time already which speaks for itself. We run a very friendly and approachable service and hope that any complaint or views you may have are dealt with in a sympathetic and polite manner. We have previously ran another local hotel (The Cumbrian Hotel) for a period of time which helped us to build up our good name for value and service.

John is a qualified chef and prepares all the food in this hotel from quality local fresh produce wherever possible. We offer a wide range of meals all of which are of a traditional style and very popular with the older guests.
